MASON CITY — Allen Dwight Kindschuh, age 58, of Mason City, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at his home of natural causes.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Pastor Sam Mack officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home.

Following the memorial service, inurnment will be at the Liberty Cemetery in Little Cedar, Iowa. There will be a time for light lunch and fellowship at the Little Cedar United Methodist Church in Little Cedar following services at the cemetery.

Allen was born May 21, 1955, in Osage, Iowa, the son of Paul and Verla (Julius) Kindschuh. He graduated from Osage High School. Allen was employed at Specialty Engineering in Nora Springs. He was a member of Abate of Iowa. Allen enjoyed going to NASCAR races, was a Minnesota Vikings fan, and loved riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed family gatherings, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Allen is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Terry) Roney of Plymouth, Jill Kindschuh (Sam Gooder) of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Katlynn Roney, Kamryn Roney and Marlee Gooder; a brother, Dennis (Becky) Kindschuh of Nora Springs; a niece, Tracy (Robert) Teeter of Mason City; and a nephew, Anthony (Sunny) Kindschuh of Bondurant.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kim Kindschuh; his sister, Charlene Hutzell; and a niece, Vicki Hutzell.
