Bo Koung Cho Wilds, 62 of Lake Mills, IA, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Pleasant Care Living Center in Pleasantville, IA.

Funeral service will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 107 East Main Street, in Lake Mills, IA, with Pastor Jerry Robertson officiating.

Visitation will be 12 noon, Wednesday, until 1:30 PM, service time at Asbury United Methodist Church in Lake Mills, IA.

Her body will be cremated after the service and later returned back to her homeland of Korea.

Bo Koung Cho Wilds was born on December 3, 1951 in Pyongsong, South Korea. She came to the United States back in the mid 1970’s with her oldest son, William Bum Suk Cho. She met Gary D. Wilds in Colorado Springs, CO, and later moved back to Gary’s hometown of Albert Lea, MN.

On May 20, 1977 they were united in marriage in Sioux Falls, SD, and ended up settling in Wells, MN. They had two sons there, Kevin in 1977 and Justin in 1982.

Bo was a very kind and caring person. She loved helping others whenever she could, loved church and church choir. She especially enjoyed teaching children and other people how to make lily origami flowers and she made many for area churches. She loved going on walks and was always on the go.

Bo started working at Banquet Foods in 1977 in Wells, MN, it later changed to Blue Coach Foods and later to Armoured Swift Eckrich. She continued working there until 2004 when the plant shut down. Bo was a very committed and hard worker.

Bo is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gary Wilds, three sons, William Cho, Kevin Wilds and Justin Wilds; grandchildren, Spencer Cho, Ian Cho, Bailey Wilds, Jayla Wilds and step grandson, Isaac Robeck; one brother, Dae Hun Cho and two sisters Becky Cho and Jenny Cho.

She was preceded in death by her mother Won Son Lee and her father Susak Cher Cho; her father-in-law Hershel Wilds’ mother-in-law Marion (Gustin) Wilds; several aunts and uncles, including her father’s twin brother.
