FAYETTE – Kelly S. Peters, 45, of Fayette, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his home.
Kelly Scott Peters was born May 18, 1967, in Waterloo, to Larry Dean Peters, Sr., and Valinda Duvall (Queen) Fitzhugh.
His three children survive, Cody Allan White, Plainfield and Ashley and Austin Peters, Fayette; along with little buddy Aydden Reson and close friend Melissa Reson of Fayette; mother and stepfather, Valinda and Roy Fitzhugh, West Des Moines; two brothers, Sam (Dawn) Peters, Gladbrook and Ricki (Teesha) Peters, Waterloo.
A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, with Pastor Rich Corkery officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
