HARLAN — Patrick J. McColloch, 67, of Harlan, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013.
Visitation is Saturday, Feb. 2, from noon to 1 p.m., with a service to begin at 1 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home, 1221 N. 16th St., Council Bluffs.
A reception will follow in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski.
Patrick was born Feb. 1, 1945, in Belmond to Chester and Lois (Murtaugh) McColloch. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and then retired from the Union Pacific Rail Road.
He is survived by his wife, Sunny; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Sara McColloch; daughter, Cheryl Letcher; mother, Lois McColloch; sister, Geraldine Helfter (Bill); brothers, Dan McColloch, Scott McColloch (Sue); grandchildren, Ryan, Makayla, Kasi, Gracie, Sami and Jessi; a host of other family and friends.
Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Chester; and son, Michael Gardner.
The family will direct memorials to a cause important to Patrick.
