MASON CITY | Randy L. Luna, 48, of Mason City died Wednesday, December 18, 2013, in his home.

A public gathering for family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m., with a time of sharing at 6:30 p.m., Thursday December 26, 2013, at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel.

If desired, memorials may be directed to the Randy Luna Family at 925 North Monroe Ave.

Randy Lee Luna, the son of John P. and Linda K. (Ulrich) Quinones, was born July 17, 1965, in Hammond, Indiana.

He grew up and attended school in Mason City.

In 1984 he was married to Shawn Hohenfield.

He started working at Armour and continued there for 23 years.

Randy loved to ride his Harley-Davidson, enjoyed shooting pool and was a Denver Broncos fan, his favorite player being John Elway.

He was also a Dale Jr. NASCAR fan. He was well known for his cooking.

Randy was a fantastic cook.

He enjoyed spending time with his dog Lex as well.

Loved ones left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Lindsay Luna and Elsie Luna; father, John Quinones; brother, Tracy (Skip) Luna, Des Moines; sister, Michelle (Roger) Quinones, Mason City; nephew, Elijah Warfield; special companion and “grand-dogger” Lex-Banana; and other special friends Zach Jindra, Peggy Smith, Randy Krominga and Tom Caswell.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Linda K. Quinones.
