MASON CITY | Sharon Lindsey, 73, formerly of Mason City, died at home in Des Moines, IA, with her niece Diane by her side.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City. There will be a one-hour prior visitation. An inurnment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sharon was born in Mason City on July 20, 1940, to Raymond Lindsey and Mildred Shaver. She lived there for some time before moving to California and was in the Navy there for a period of time before moving back to Mason City. Then about 10 years ago she moved to Des Moines to be closer to her family.
Family was most important to Sharon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Irvin (Maryann) Lindsey of Wichita, KS, and Berry (Twila) Lindsey of Jefferson; her sister, Marcella Harder of Minnesota; her niece, Diane (Gus) Dittmann of Des Moines; also many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great- nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
Sharon will be greatly missed by all of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jerry Lindsey; and her brother-in-law, Howard.
