Mason City — Joan A. Klein, 65, of Mason City, Iowa, stepped out of this life and into the arms of Jesus, her Lord, on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, with her loving husband and faithful companion “Daisy” by her side at the Hospice inpatient unit of Mason City.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 1, at 10:30 a.m. at Hogan-Bremer-Moore-Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City. A public gathering will be held one hour prior to the service.

Joan was born on July 29, 1947, to the parents of Eugene and Alice Seley. She fell in love and was married to Dennis Harold Klein on October 29, 1966.

Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Although she will be missed greatly we know that she is not gone from our lives, she just changed her address.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Alice Seley.

She is survived by her husband Dennis Klein; children Micheal (Wendy) Klein, Jeff Klein, and Jennifer Klein and Aaron Despenas; grandchildren Kelsey, Emily, Abbie, Brayden, Nicholas, Bri, Katie, Kory, and Kolin; great-grandchildren Jaydon, Arianna, and Adler, as well as many other family members.

Should friends and family desire, memorials may be sent to Hospice of North Iowa.
