GRANDVIEW, Mo. — Michael James Keough, 63, passed away in the early hours on Aug. 19, 2013, at his home in Grandview, Mo.
He was born in Mason City, Iowa, on March 4, 1950, to the late James and Marvel Keough.
Services were held Aug. 22, in Grandview, Mo.
Mike enlisted in the Army and served his country honorably, performing two tours of duty in Vietnam. Mike continued on to work at Armour in Mason City, Iowa, and later transferred to Missouri with Armour.
In 1984, he went to work at Owens Illinois/Graham Packaging, where he worked until retiring in 2012, due to health complications.
Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle to several nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife, of 40 years, Tina Keough; his daughter, Tresha and husband Myrl Long, Grandview, Mo.; his daughter Serena Keough, Grandview, Mo.; his son, Jeremy Keough and fiance, Stephanie Lynch, Olathe, Kan.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Jacqueline and husband Keith Reich, Mason City, Iowa; sister Patricia and husband Dan Blau, Forest City, Iowa; brother, Terry and wife Nancy Keough, Rudd, Iowa, and a brother, Joseph Keough, Farmington, Minn.
