Services for Wyatt John Sinning will be at the Smith Wellness Center Gymnasium, Emmetsburg, Iowa, on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Nicholas Thackery officiating.

Wyatt John Sinning, son of Jesi Sinning and Luke Schmitt, was born May 24, 1995, in Mason City, Iowa. He received his education at Emmetsburg High School and would be a senior this fall. Wyatt was also currently attending Iowa Lakes Community College where he was excelling as a student in the welding program.

Wyatt had a deep interest in not only welding, but working on tractors, cars and trucks. His dream after completing high school and college was to farm with his grandfather.

Wyatt had been employed at Trettin/HET, Jensvold Motor, Sinning Farms Inc., Christensen Farms and currently at Fareway. He was an active member of FFA.

Wyatt was a country boy through and through. He loved country music, cowboy boots and getting dirty on his four-wheeler. He loved being outdoors and going fishing with his grandparents. He had a big heart and was always looking out for his friends and family.

Wyatt passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013, at the age of 18. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jesi Sinning of Emmetsburg, Iowa, Luke Schmitt of Green, Iowa; brothers, Maverick and Marshall Schmitt of Lake Mills, Iowa; his sister, Georgia Marsh of Emmetsburg; maternal grandparents, Mike and Pat Sinning; paternal grandparents, Paul and Sylvia Hedrick; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; great-grandparents, Eleanor Sinning and Myron and Sally Stanlander.

Wyatt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jo-Jo Parker, Norval Sinning and Dave Schmitt; and great-grandparents, Nick and Dorothy Schmitt.
