Louise Junker, 94, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away November 22, 2013, at the Rehabilitation Center – Hampton. She was born September 4, 1919, near Bristow, Butler, County, Iowa, to William and Minna (Gobel) Friedrichs. Louise attended Benezette No. 6 country school and Aredale High School. She was married to William Junker December 5, 1937 in Sheffield, Iowa. They farmed in Butler and Franklin Counties, Louise working alongside Bill in all the farming labors. She was a hard worker, a good cook, and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In 1973 they moved to their home in Hampton, where they were in fellowship with the Hampton Gospel Hall. Louise, on March 30, 194l, received by faith, Christ as her own personal savior, — saved by grace, Ephesians 2:8-9 —; and the assurance of eternal life in Heaven with Him. She faithfully attended the Gospel Hall until her health kept her from going.

Louise is survived by daughter, Marie Card Eilderts (Wendell) of Hampton, son, LeRoy Junker (Judy) of Dumont, and Wilrena Price of Mason City; brother, Walter Friedrichs of Shell Rock, brother-in-law, Eilard Muller of Ackley, sister-in-law, Elinor Junker of Evansdale. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Julie Gray (Terry) of Toledo, Dwayne Junker of Mason City, Layton Junker of rural Dumont, Sherry Kuhn of Mansfield, MO, Lori Card of Des Moines, and Teresa Wike of Nevada, IA. There are 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and 3 step great-great-grandchildren. Cousins and many nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004, parents, brothers Carl and Paul Friedrichs, and sister Hertha Muller, and one great grandchild in infancy.
