Ethelda “Tillie” Gamble, 89, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Sunday December 15, 2013, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton in Hampton, Iowa.
She was born September 13, 1924, in Hansell, Iowa, to Bill and Lessie (Jones) Branan. Tillie was united in marriage to Gene Eitel on February 1, 1945, in Hampton and then she married Jim Gamble on October 21, 1977, in Vermillion, South Dakota.
Tillie is survived by her son James Eitel(Joyce) of Newton , son Bob Eitel(Connie) of Lemoore, California, and son in law Terry Wilkinson, Hampton. Her grandchildren are Lessie Eitel, Geneva, Marcy Eitel, Hampton, Ty Eitel(Jaime) , Dexter, Dean (Wanda) Miller, Newton, Shane Eitel, Lemoore,CA, Scott Eitel, Lemoore,Ca, Angie Miller-Goodell(Mike),Hampton, Amy Wilkinson-Busby(Lyle), Hampton. Her great-grandchildren are Cole & Cash Eitel, Dexter, Courtney & Rebecca Eitel, Lemoore, CA, Ciera Gunderson(Blake), Hampton, Colten Miller, Hampton, Carlie Miller, Hampton, Mylee Goodell, Hampton, Jordan Wilkinson, Hampton, Hunter Wilkinson, Hampton, Alycia Martinez, Hampton. Also a sister Dottie Olson of Florida.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Enjoyed playing cards with some “Special” Ladies, and just spending time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by daughter(Pam Wilkinson), great- grandchild (Jordan Eitel), parents, husbands, and brother.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
