Lucille Williamson, 99, of Charles City, died Monday, May 27, 2013 at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Charles City.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday where there will be a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church an hour prior to the Mass.

Lucille Marie Kapler Williamson was born September 30, 1913 in Cresco, the daughter of Daniel and Martha (Grimm) Kapler. She received her education from Saint Joseph School in Cresco. On May 18, 1935, she was united in marriage to Ernest Williamson at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Cresco. Lucille was a homemaker devoted to her family. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Rosary Society. Lucille was a Girl Scout Leader for many years, and had served as treasurer for Immaculate Conception School. She enjoyed playing piano, and cooking.

Living family members include two children, Marlene Doran of New York City, N.Y. and Duane Williamson of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandsons, Jeffrey (Natalie) Williamson and Scott (Sharon) Williamson; and two great granddaughters, Madoline and Mischa Williamson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on September 24, 2005; two sisters, Evelyn Kapler, Bernice Priebe and three brothers, Dennis Kapler, Arnold Kapler, and Charles Kapler.
