NeVaeh Rose was born on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, the daughter of Arianna Marie Kennedy and Darrian Troy Moorehead. Her name is “Heaven” spelled backwards. The arrival of their daughter was happily anticipated until the diagnosis of Anencephaly determined that NeVaeh would never survive beyond her mother’s womb. Her birth and death though, involved many close family members who welcomed her to this side of birth while knowing that she is in a better place by going home.

Those surviving NeVaeh include her parents Arianna and Darrian; maternal grandparents, Sara (Brett) Eden of Mason City and Jeromy Kennedy of Hanlontown; and paternal grandmother, Kelli Moorehead, Mason City; great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, and many others.

Her paternal grandfather, McDale “Buddy” Thompson, great uncle Jacob Sullivan, along with many other relatives preceded her in death.
