ROCHESTER, Minn. | Phyllis (Connelly) Hugeback, 73, of Rochester, Minn., died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013. Phyllis passed away at her home in Rochester after a courageous battle with Parkinson~s Disease.She is survived by her husband, Vern; son, Mark; and three grandchildren, all of Rochester; her sister, Karen (Connelly) White, Mason City; and many nieces and nephews.Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Cedric and Lucille Connelly, her sister, Judi (Connelly) Birdsall, her daughter, Lisa (Hugeback) Weiner and her granddaughter, Katherine Weiner.Phyllis graduated from St. Joseph High School in Mason City in 1958. She went on to study nursing, earned her degree and worked for the Sisters of Assisi Heights and the Rochester School District.She loved to read and loved watching and playing tennis.
