Lawrence C. “Larry” Gutting, 60, of Geneva, Iowa, passed away November 22, 2013, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. He was born on June 5, 1953, in River Falls, Wisconsin, to Bernard and Mary (Gorski) Gutting. Larry graduated from high school in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. He was united in marriage to Holly Anders on February 11, 1989, in Williams, Iowa. Larry was a construction worker. He enjoyed deer hunting, watching wrestling and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Larry is survived by his wife Holly Gutting of Geneva, son Lawrence Gutting, Jr. of Hampton, daughter Magen Gutting of Geneva, brother Robert (Mary Lou) Gutting of Marshalltown, brother Edward (Kathy) Gutting of Donellson, sister Deborah Powers of Rochester, Minnesota, sister Lori (DuWayne) Johnson of Bay City, Wisconsin, brother Christopher (Heidi) Gutting of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, sister Gloria (Bill) Burnell of Centerville, Tennessee, brother Philip (Sandy) Gutting of Green Bay, Wisconsin, sister Bernadine Peacock of Wilmington, North Carolina, sister Mary Heldenbrand of Latimer, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his parents.
Burial will take place in the Lindenwood Cemetery in rural Geneva, Iowa
