MASON CITY — Naomi T. Gray, 75, of Mason City, Iowa, died Friday, August 9, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Temple Baptist Church, 1211 S. Kentucky Ave., with Pastor Stephen Wolfe officiating. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. today at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave.

Naomi was born January 13, 1938, the daughter of Irvin and Doris (Pierce) Tate in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She attended and gradated from high school in Shawnee, Oklahoma, in 1956.

She was married to Ronnie Gray on April 15, 1961, in Reno, Nevada.

She worked for A.C. Nielsen for over thirty years until her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, taking care of her home and tending to her flowers. She loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Naomi is survived by her two sons: Ross Gray and wife Susan, Craig Gray and wife Staci; grandchildren, Maigan (Kevyn) Mumaw, Amanda Gray, Breanna Gray; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Gray and Keira Mumaw; sister, JoAnn Kaskuske (John Grass); brother, Michael Tate; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie, in 1979; parents, Doris and Irvin Tate; parents-in-law, Ralph and Helen Gray; sister-in-law, Sandra Dooley; brother-in-law, Carl Gray; nephew, Wendell Kaskuske; special cousin, Gary Gray.

Major Erickson Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
