Sioux Falls, S.D. — Jon M. Graves, 51, of Sioux Falls, S.D., died Sept. 6, 2012, after a short illness, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, S.D.
Jon was born Nov. 25, 1960, in Mason City, to Donald Graves and Alice (Zirbel) Graves.
He was cremated, and a private family graveside service and burial was held May 16, 2013, at the Rockwell Cemetery. He rests next to his mother.
Jon is survived by his siblings, Nadine (David) Tice, of Charles City; Curtis (Sue) Graves, of Hawthorne, N.J.; Mark (Mava) Graves, of Port Charlotte, Fla.; Dona (Dean) Wood, of Clear Lake; Lloyd (Cindy) Graves, of Mason City; twin Jodie (Shelby) Britt, of Fort Worth, Texas; sister-in-law, Rosemary Graves, of Coventry, R.I.; many nieces and nephews; and a very special family friend, Vernita Nichols, of Mason City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, one brother, Ronald Graves, and one niece, Rondi Graves.
