NORTHWOOD — Donna Dokken, 77, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Good Shepherd Health Center, Mason City.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, June 2, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Elk Creek Lutheran Church, rural Kensett with the Rev. Tom Martin officiating. Burial will be in Elk Creek Cemetery, rural Kensett.

Visitation will be Monday 10-11 a.m. at Elk Creek Lutheran Church.

Donna was born Nov. 20, 1936, to James and Fleta (Schafer) Cockram in Sheffield.

She married Leslie Dokken in 1972, at Zion St. John Lutheran Church, Sheffield.

She worked as an office assistant and Activities Director at Northwood’s Lutheran Retirement Home.

In her free time she enjoyed several activities including: raising animals, in particular Guiney chickens, cats and sheep; bowling leagues; bicycling; camping in Minnesota; coffee in Manly. She was an active member of her church, and rumored to have piles of yarn for her knitting.

Donna is survived by: her brother Robert (Shirley) Cockram of Sheffield; niece Kathy and her children Christopher, Daniel, Tyler and Morgan; nephews Bruce and Brett (friend Wendy) with his daughter Tara; many in-laws.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Leslie; her parents, James and Fleta Cockram.
