PLYMOUTH | Erika S. Schneckloth, 26, of Mason City and formerly of Plymouth, died Saturday (June 28, 2014) due to injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday (July 2, 2014) at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St. N.E., Mason City, with Pastor Forrest Cornelius officiating.

Following the service cremation rites will be accorded and an inurnment will be held in the Hampton Cemetery at a future date.

A visitation with public viewing will be held on Tuesday evening (July 1, 2014) at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and will continue one hour prior to Erika’s service at the funeral home on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in Erika’s name for her son, Chase.

Erika Sue Schneckloth was born on September 6, 1987, in Charles City, the daughter of Scott and Lisa (Rinerson) Schneckloth. She attended North Central High School in Manly among the class of 2006 before furthering her education at NIACC in Mason City.

She was currently employed with Hawkeye Auto Body in Mason City.

Erika’s greatest joy in life came with the arrival of her son, Chase. She cherished the time they spent together and loved him with all of her heart.

In her free time Erika loved tubing the Shell Rock River and camping with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, working on her artwork, and watching scary movies.

Erika loved all animals, especially her cat, Rocky and her Husky, Juno. She was known at home for her love of cooking and was always trying out new recipes for her family.

Erika was also a bit of a prankster, she loved laughing and joking around and was always up for a practical joke.

Those grateful in sharing in her life are her parents, Scott (Susan) Schneckloth, Plymouth, and Lisa Schneckloth and Jon Collins, Mason City; her son, Chase, and his father, Jeff Beier; her step brothers, Jake and Jarrid Paulsen; her grandmother, Nadine Schneckloth; and her aunts and uncles, Brenda (Mike) Hancock, Linda (Duke) Hawkins, and Mark (Shirley) Schneckloth; as well as her cousins and extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Leone Rinerson; and her paternal grandfather, James Schneckloth.
