CLEAR LAKE | Wuaneta Loers, 68, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 5, 2014, at Hospice of North Iowa.

A come and go celebration of her life will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at Evangelical Free Church, 1310 Highway 18 W., Clear Lake.

According to her wishes, her body was cremated. Memorial gifts are suggested to Hospice of North Iowa.

Wuaneta was born in Kingsley, IA, March 14, 1946, the daughter of Robert and Luella Wilson. She moved to Duncombe, IA, with her family as a young child. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1964, and married Daryl Haub in Dayton, IA, in 1966. Two children were born to them. She then married Douglas Loers in 1980. Mr. Loers passed away in 2000.

She attended NIACC and graduated from the Medical Assistant program. She later worked at Park Clinic and later at the Mercy Cancer Center until 1998. She and Doug traveled much of the U.S. until he got sick.

Wuaneta enjoyed her visits with all those she loved — family, friends and those who touched her life. Cabin Coffee was a favorite place for her.

She was a member of First Congregational Church, Clear Lake.

She is survived by her brother, Wyman (Cindy) Wilson of Vancouver, WA; her daughter Janell (Steve) Reuscher — children Jordan, Micah and Nick; her son Ben Haub (Rachel) of Dayton, IA — children Malcolm, Eva, Brielle and Asa, and the love of her life, Gary Hugi, for the last 12 years.

Wuaneta was blessed with so many beloved friends who enriched her life.

Preceded in death by her parents and sister Julie Green.
