Marvin was born April 5, 1943, in Plymouth, Iowa, the son of Milton and Ruth (Kleven) Wyborny. He graduated from Rock Falls High School in 1961. Marvin married Sandra L. Hansen on November 2, 1965, at the Old Stone United Methodist Church in Rock Falls. He worked as a salesman for Sears, mainly in the Automotive Department, for 35 years, before his retirement in September of 2001. He also turned his favorite hobby of taking pictures into 25 years of Wedding Photography. Marv enjoyed spending time with his family – especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, tinkering with cars, being outdoors, the acreage, and visiting with friends (Marv had “The Gift of Gab”).
Marvin had a strong Christian faith. He was an active member of the Plymouth Bible Baptist Church, where he made many friends. He liked attending church activities and interacting with the youth and young children. They quickly learned Marv liked passing Junior Mints when shaking hands. Marv was an outgoing man with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
