Ruth Ann (McKillip) Morische died peacefully at home on Monday, March 24, 2014.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at Rock Creek Lutheran Church in rural Meroa, Iowa.
Ruth Ann was born September 19, 1939, in Rock Island County, Illinois, to Elmer and Jessie (Krueger) McKillip.
She married Alan Morische on February 2, 1957, and to this union three children were born: Gwendolyn, Vincent, and Michael.
She was a lifelong resident of Mitchell County and was a member of Rock Creek Lutheran Church.
Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed reading, but especially enjoyed needlework and knitting afghans for each of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters Wilma and Delores.
She is survived by her children Gwen (Darwin) Mellmann, Vince (Connie) Morische, and Mike (Julie) Morische, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister Verlee Clevenger, brothers Keith (Judy) McKillip, Merlyn (Maxine) McKillip, Ron (Maria) McKillip, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial monies will be contributed to Hospice of North Iowa.
