PERRY | Dawn Moffett, 53, of Perry, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at home. Funeral services at will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at the funeral home.
A visitation will be held locally at the Hub, Clear Lake, (affiliated with Zion Lutheran Church), from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16.

Dawn Kai Moffett was born on April 25, 1961 at Waterloo, Iowa, to Lawrence Alan and Janet Ruby (Schwake) Huegli. She graduated from Mason City High School with the class of 1979. She was united in marriage to James “Jamie” Moffett on Sept. 12, 1981, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City. Dawn cooked for the Madrid Home, Perry Lutheran Home and then at Kegel East Bowling Center in Perry for many years.
Dawn enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing cards, especially 500. She loved her grandchildren and spending time playing with them.
Survivors include her husband, Jamie Moffett, of Perry, father, Lawrence (Linda) Huegli, Clear Lake, mother, Janet (Bob) Meyer, Mason City, son, Michael (Ashley) Moffett, Perry, daughter, Stephanie (Tim) Cory, Polk City, brothers, Allen Huegli, Mason City, and Scott (Cindy) Huegli, Mason City, sister, Tracey (Jeremy) Thiele, Alexandria, Minn.; grandchildren, Taylor Devilbiss, Jordyn Gough, Mason Devilbiss, Dalton Scott, Adre’anna Moffett, Zakere Moffett, Makenna Moffett and Chloe Cory.
Dawn was preceded in death by grandparents, William and Helen Schwake and Elmer and Sadie Huegli.
