BATAVIA, Ill. | Daniel Kimball Ott, 50, of Batavia, Ill., formerly of Excelsior, Minn., passed away suddenly on July 23, 2014.
Preceded in death by his sister Susan Wisner and his niece Erica Wisner. Survived by his parents Ralph and Jackie Ott, sisters Kathy Saum (Bob), Karen (Randy) Wisner, Laura Reynolds (Jackie Hoff) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dan, a U.S. Navy veteran, lived in Batavia but his heart was in Excelsior. Dan was a kind, loving and gentle man who valued above all else his amazing friends and family ties. We are thankful and blessed for all who loved him. He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched.
A celebration of Dan~s life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Bayview Event Center, 687 Excelsior Blvd., Excelsior, Minn. Burial will be in Clear Lake at a date yet to be determined.
