FLOYD | Mary “Ellen” Gray, 57, Floyd, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 603 South Iowa, Charles City, with Mr. Dennis Brock officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service time on Saturday at the Kingdom Hall.
The family would like to suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to a local humane society in her memory.
Mary “Ellen” Gray was born on Aug. 5, 1956, in Moville, the daughter of Dale “Gus” Schultz and Mathia “Tice” Nilles. She was united in marriage to Stephen Gray on Oct. 17, 1987, in Charles City.
Mary became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses with her baptism on Feb. 12, 1994.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Stephen Gray of Floyd; a daughter, Tina (Zach) Friest; three grandchildren, Jesse, Aaliyah and Logan Friest, all of Charles City; eight brothers and sisters; and many extended family members and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 11495 265th St., Mason City, is in charge of the local arrangements.
