BLOOMER, Wis. | Selma Elaine Lee, age 95, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at Hetzel Care Center in Bloomer, Wis.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church, rural Joice, with Pastor Kevin Olson officiating.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.

Burial will be in West Cemetery, Rake.

Selma Elaine (Olson) Lee was born on Dec. 22, 1918, in Eagle Grove, to Ole S. and Anna (Huus) Olson.

She was married to Roy Lee on May 12, 1940, in Holmes. Selma was a kind and caring woman who loved helping others. She enjoyed music, small group Bible studies and spending time with her children, grandchildren and her friends.

Selma is survived by one son, Nathan (Peggy) Lee of Fresno, Calif.; daughters, Merline (Norman) Rufledt of Sand Creek, Wis., Eunice Gross of Terre Haute, Ind., Jane Lee of St. Paul, Minn., Sharon (Skip) Lien of Clovis, Calif., Ruth (Dan) Ostergaard of Olathe, Kan., and Lois Lee of Vancouver, Wash.; brothers, Arnold Olson of Clarion, Stanley Olson of Mason City, and Luther (Bev) Olson of Webster City; a sister, Signora (Ken) Stolhammer of Hibbing, Minn.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ole and Anna Olson; her husband Roy; seven brothers, Merle, Joseph, Paul, Orville, Donald, Philip and Stanley in infancy; and two sisters, Arlene and Jeanette.
