Nadine Mae Arends (Freese) Gram passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Iowa.
She was born in Hampton on April 20, 1928 the daughter of Richard and Edna Arends. Nadine married Neale Freese April 14, 1946, he passed, and then she remarried Raymond Gram on December 18, 1976, in Nashua.
She is survived by three children Sandy (Chuck) Olk of Latimer, Cathy (Tom) Hensel of Brainerd, Minnesota, Rick (Donna) Freese of Shell Rock, step son Larry (Evonne) Gram of Idaho, eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, sisters Loretta Morgan of Hampton, sister Anita (Duane) Mason of Aredale, brother Richard Dean Arends of Waverly, sister Janice Krull of Waverly, brother Roger (Steffi) Arends of Wichita, Kansas, brother Terry (Linda) Arends of Shell Rock. She was preceded in death by her husbands Neale Freese and Raymond Gram, parents Richard and Edna Arends, stepfather Chris Muhlenhaupt. She was employed by Maytag for over 25 years. Nadine enjoyed going to the senior center, spending time with family, enjoyed going to the casino and volunteering for numerous organizations in Hampton. She was an active member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hampton, Iowa
Burial will take place at the Coulter Cemetery in Coulter, Iowa.
