CHATHAM, Ill. | Jerry Hanson, 64, of Chatham, Ill., formerly of Mason City, died peacefully at his home on Jan. 21, 2014.
Jerry was born May 18, 1949, in Mason City.
A celebration of Jerry~s life will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Faith Baptist Church, Galesburg, Ill. A memorial service will also be held in Mason City, at a later date.

Those left to cherish Jerry~s memory are his wife of 41 years, Barbara; daughters, Jessica and Jerilee; grandchildren, Sabrina, Ashanti, Artez, Madison, Nevaeh; mother, Mary Ellen Hanson, and brothers, Paul (Nancy) Hanson, Bill (Cheryl) Hanson, and Mike (Kim) Hanson.
He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Hanson.
