COUNCIL BLUFFS | Michon R. Runyon, age 30, of Council Bluffs passed away July 13, 2014.
She was born in the District of Columbia on Oct. 16, 1983.
After graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School, she attended Iowa State University and graduated with a double major in journalism and fine arts. She last worked in Des Moines at Wells Fargo Bank.
Michon is survived by her parents, Devon and Margaret Runyon; sister and brother-in-law, Cristin and Shawn Kohlscheen; grandparents, J. David and Dora Runyon and Benjamin and Marilyn Broghammer; nephew, Matthew; a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday 6-8 p.m., with a wake service to begin at 8 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 223 Harmony St. in Council Bluffs. Interment is in the Garner Township Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski.
