Mary
Elizabeth Carris Price, 87, died Monday, Sept. 26,
1994, at the Pleasant Care Living Center,
Pleasantville, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 29, at
the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with
the Pastor Marge Bradshaw of St. Pauls United
Methodist Church, Pleasantville, officiating.
Interment was in the Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear
Lake.
The family suggests memorials be given in her memory
to St. Pauls United Methodist of Pleasantville, or
the American Lung Association.
Mary was born on a farm eight miles south of Ogden
on July 2, 1907. She grew up in the Bouton area and
graduated from Perry High School.
[She] graduated from Perry High School. She taught
school in Boone County, and later moved to Chicago
where she lived with two of her three sisters and
worked as a bookkeeper at Walgreens.
She married her first husband there, and he died
shortly after their daughter was born. She then
moved back to Des Moines where she met James E.
Price. In 1946 they moved to Clear Lake, where they
raised their three children.
Mary enjoyed gardening, canning, fishing, camping
and traveling. James passed away in 1982. She moved
to Pleasant Care Living Center in January of 1994.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Price
Croxton and her husband, Thomas E., of Columbus,
Ohio, William L. Price and his wife, Rebecca J. of
Pleasantville, Herbert L. Price, Clear Lake; her
grandchildren, Dianna Croxton Garvey and her
husband, James, Columbus, Ohio, Elizabeth Croxton
Glenn and her husband, Rick, Ostrander, Ohio, Aaron
L. Price and Andrew F. Price of Pleasantville;
great-grandchildren, Seamus Garvey, Mary Katherine
Garvey, Benjamin Glenn and Mary Elizabeth Glenn; a
sister, Pauline Wright, Bloomington, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E.
Price.
Pallbearers were Rick Glenn, Larry Iddings,
Elizabeth Glenn, Aaron Price, Steven Lamb, Andrew
Price, Dianna Garvey.

Louis S.
Clock, 83, of Detroit, formerly of Clear Lake, died
Sunday, Sept. 11, 1994, at his Royal Oak home.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 14, at
the William Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, Royal Oak.
Interment was at the White Chapel Memorial Park
Cemetery, Troy.
Louis Clock was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Clock.
He graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1928.
He received a bachelors degree in chemical
engineering from the University of Wisconsin, and a
masters degree in thermal dynamics from Northwestern
University. He taught applied mechanics for 31 years
at the University of Detroit, retiring in 1977.
He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Clock Allen; a
son, Thomas E. Clock; three grandsons; and a sister,
Cora Clock.

Gisel
Gladys M. Gisel, 91, of Ventura, died Wednesday,
Sept. 28, 1994, at the Concord Care Center, Garner,
Iowa.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 1, at
Redeemer Lutheran Church, Ventura, with the Rev.
Daird Korth officiating. Interment was in the
Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.
Gladys was born Feb. 20, 1903 in Maquoketa, Iowa,
the daughter of John Garretson and Ada Mayberry
Garretson. She graduated from Maquoketa High School
with a Normal Training degree. She taught rural
school in Jackson County.
She married Robert Gisel on Nov. 11, 1925 in
Maquoketa. They owned and operated Gisel Hardware in
Andrew, Iowa, from 1925-1943. They moved to Ventura
in 1943, where they opened the Gisel Hardware
Store....
She is survived by her son Willard Gisel and his
wife, Gladys, Ventura; one grandson Jeff Gisel and
his wife, Karen.... a granddaughter-in-law Capt.
Donna Rezendes, Okinawa, Japan; five
great-grandchildren Jeffrey Gisel, Andrew Gisel,
Tiffany Gisel, Jennifer Gisel and Stephanie Gisel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her
husband in 1965; one brother ... Kenneth Garretson;
and one grandson Steven Gisel.
Pallbearers were Scott Ollenburg, Curtis
Christensen, Ronald Knop, Robert Wolfram, Leroy
Ziesmer, Keith Ransom.
Gladys loved to play bridge. She was a charter
member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Ventura.

Dorothy E. Bitker
Dorothy E. Bitker, 56,
of Mason City, died Friday, Oct. 7, 1994, at the
Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City,
following a six year illness of breast cancer.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday, Oct. 10, at
St. Josephs Catholic Church, Mason City. Father
James E. Hayes, associate pastor, celebrated the
Mass. Burial was in the Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery,
Mason City. A Scriptural Wake Service was held
Sunday, Oct. 9 at the Fullerton Patterson James
Funeral Chapel, Mason City.
Mrs. Bitker, the former Dorothy Ellen (nee) Paulsen,
was born Sept. 15, 1938, in Iowa City, Iowa, the
daughter of Arnold Paulsen and Christena (nee) Berry
Paulsen. She was raised in Mason City where she
attended school. She graduated from Mason City High
School in 1956.

On June 9, 1956, at St. Josephs Catholic Church,
Mason City, she married Larry Ray Bitker. For 10
years, she was a sales associate taught CCD class.
She was a charter member of the North Central Iowa
Genealogical Society in Mason City. She enjoyed
knitting, crocheting and genealogy work.
She is survived by her husband, Larry, Mason City;
her mother, Christena Paulsen, Mason City; ... for
the Wal-Mart store in Mason City.
She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church,
where she formerly sang in the choir and the
Wal-Mart store in Mason City. She was a member of

husband, Steven, of Springfield, Va., Teresa
Samuelsen and her husband, David of Mankato, Minn.,

Minn., Christine Paulsen, Mason City; and eight
grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Arnold
Paulsen; two brothers, Donald Paulsen and Thomas

Siefken
Scott H.
Siefken, 37, of Manly, Iowa, formerly of Plainfield,
died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 1994, at the University of
Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Oct. 8, at the
East Friesland Presbyterian Church, rural Ackley,
with Pastor Charles J. Bar officiating. The body was
cremated.
Memorials can be directed to the family in memory of
Scott Siefken.
Scott Siefken was born Feb. 7, 1957, in Grundy
Center, Iowa, the son of Roland Siefken and Ardie
(nee) Lindaman Siefken.
He graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1975 and
then worked full time for H & H Implement, a job he
had started during high school. In the fall of 1975,
he entered the United States Navy where he served
for the next four years. Following his discharge, he
returned to Wellsburg and went back to work for H &
H for a while before going to work for his uncle,
Alle Jasper, on his farm near Steamboat Rock, Iowa.
On Feb. 14, 1988, he was united in marriage to Lydia
K. Krull at the East Friesland Presbyterian Church,
rural Ackley, Iowa. They made their home in Cleves,
and Scott continued to work on his uncles farm. In
1989 they moved to Auburn, Neb., where they farmed
until November of 1989 when they moved to
Plainfield. Scott worked in Charles City and
Waverly.
Scott joined the 1133rd Transportation Company of
the Army National Guard in Mason City, and later
became involved with Desert Storm, leaving for Saudi
Arabia in November of 1990. Scott returned from his
service in Saudi Arabia in March of 1991, and the
following month he was discharged. In August of
1991, he became employed by Trans-Iowa Equipment,
Inc., in Clear Lake as a mechanic. June of 1993,
Scott became ill and on Aug. 26, 1994, he was
hospitalized, first at the VA Hospital in Iowa City
and later University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
He was a member of the American Legion Post, Iowa
City, and the VFW Post in Mason City.
Scott is survived by his wife, Lydia, of Manly; two
sons, Trent, 10, and Justin, 3, at home; his
parents, Roland and Ardie Siefken of Plainfield; his
mother-in-law, LaRue Krull of Waverly; five sisters,
Josie Siefken of Story City, Iowa, Cristie Sanford
and her husband, Craig, Vancouver, Wash., ... of
Dexter, Barbie Hoins and her husband, Kevin, rural
Plainfield, and Leslie Thrasher and her husband,
Steven, Plainfield.

Lillian Irene
Nichols, 81, of Clear Lake, Iowa died Wednesday,
Oct. 5, 1994 at the I.O.O.F. Care Center, Mason
City, Iowa following a five-year battle with
multiple myeloma.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, at
the First Congregational Church in Clear Lake.
Pastor Charles Williams will officiate. Burial will
be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, at the
Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St.,
Clear Lake. In lieu of flowers, the family
suggeeests memorials to be made to Hospice of North
Iowa or to the First Congregational Church.
Irene Nichols was born Sept. 17, 1913 in Union
Township, the daughter of Harry Spilman and Ada
(nee) Crozier Spilman. She graduated from Clear Lake
High School in 1930. She attended Santa Ana Junior
College, Santa Ana, Calif., for one year, then
taught at Union No. 2 School for two years.
On Aug. 5, 1933 she married Robert L. Nichols at the
home of her parents. The couple lived their entire
lives in Clear Lake.
Irene was a member of the First Congregational
Church, P.E.O. and Progress Club. She was very
active in her church. She taught Sunday School, was
a member of the Womens Fellowship, serving both as
treasurer and president, and contributed many hours
to the annual Holiday Festival. She also served as
delegate to the National Association of Christian
Congregational Churches. She enjoyed playing bridge,
reading and needlework.
She is survived by one son, Lester Dale and his wife
Joyce, Bay Village, Ohio; one daughter, Judy Irene
Lund and her husband Neilan, Minneapolis, Minn.; one
sister, Luceal Scott and her husband Roy, Clear
Lake; three grandchildren, Kathryn Beabout and her
husband Dan of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., Joanne Grace
and her husband Joe, Bay Village, Ohio, and Rebecca
Christel and her husband Tom of Lake Bluff, Ill.;
and five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Laura and
Katie Beabout, and Kristen and Joey Grace.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents and her
husband.
At the funeral service, Sue Roenfanz was organist
and Larry Shaffer provided the music.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren.

Zilphy I.
Lekwa, 84, Mena, Ark., formerly of Clear Lake, died
Wednesday, Sept. 28, 1994, at the Valley Baptist
Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
Memorial services were held Sunday, Oct. 2, at the
First Christian Church in Mena, Ark., where she was
a member. Burial was in the Clear Lake Cemetery by
her husband Nels Lekwa.
Zilphy was born June 26, 1910, in Mason City, Iowa,
the daughter of Frank S. Long and Wilmie (nee)
Lillibridge Long. They moved to Clear Lake from a
farm north of Clear Lake in 1928. She graduated from
Clear Lake High School in 1928. Zilphy worked for
many years at the Clear Lake Independent Telephone
Company.
On Feb. 4, 1944, she married Nels H. Lekwa, at San
Francisco, Calif. After her husbands release from
the Navy they moved to Clear Lake, a few months
before moving to Oregon where their son, Larry, was
born in 1946. They returned to Iowa shortly after
where they lived in various places while Nels did
carpenter work. They moved back to Clear Lake in
1947, and for 16 years following were in the summer
cottage business.
They moved to Hereford, Texas in 1975 and to Mena,
Ark. in 1979. She made her home with her son, Larry
and his wife, Alta Matzen Lekwa.
Zilphy and her husband were active Christians,
beginning the Church of Christ along with others in
1953, where they were charter members.
She was an avid correspondent with many missionaries
of the Christian Churches and Churches of Christ.
She wrote poetry and had a number of poems
published. She received the (Honored Servant Award)
in 1987 at the Arkansas Christian Convention. She
taught many children the Bible during the years and
had charge of the Christian Endeavor Youth of the
First Christian Church in Clear Lake for a number of
years.
She is survived by her son Larry Lekwa and his wife,
Alto Lekwa, Fayetteville, Ark.; two sisters, Rachel
Hawkins, St. Louis, Minn., Ellen Prestholt,
Hanlontown, Iowa; two grandchildren, Andrew Lekwa
and his wife, Alana Lekwa, Fayetteville, Ark., Kelly
Lekwa, Hot Springs, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nells
Lekwa in 1982; two brothers, Robert A. Long in 1982,
and Frank I. Long in 1967.

69, of 1418 Stanford St., Port Charlotte, Fla., died
Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1994 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial
Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake. Burial will be
in Clear Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Oct.
21, at the funeral home. The family suggests
memorials in his name.
He was born March 12, 1925 in Newton, Iowa the son
of Emery Ludwig and Olive (nee) Loveland Ludwig.
He graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1943 and
served in the United States Navy during World Ward
II. He was employed by VyLactos Laboratories in Des
Moines, Iowa and became manager of the companys
Syracuse, Ind. plant.
He married Marian Corinne Sandry Jan. 19, 1946 in
Iowa City, Iowa. The couple moved to Florida in 1987
after his retirement.
He was a former member and past vice president of
the Rotary Club in Syracuse, Ind.
He is survived by his wife, Corrine, of Port
Charlotte, Ind.; four children, Elizabeth Johnson or
Port Charlotte, Sam Ludwig and his wife Cindy of
Edwardburg, Mich., Peter Ludwig of Orlando, Fla. and
John Ludwig and his wife Robin of Tombstone, Ariz;
two sisters, Nancy Ogelsby and her husband Jack of
London, Ontario, Canada and Mary Lou Jefferson and
her husband Phil of Delmar, Calif.; and seven
grandchilren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two
brothers, Robert Ludwig and William Ludwig.

Hanson, 62, of 1004 5th Ave. S., Clear Lake, died
Monday, Oct. 17, 1994 at North Iowa Mercy Health
Centers east campus.
He was born Nov. 10, 1931 in Clear Lake, Iowa the
son of Lester Hanson and Ruth Elizabeth (nee) Dull
Hanson.
He was employed by Crocker Claims in Mason City
prior to joining Farmland Insurance as an adjustor.
He worked there from 1971-79. In 1980, he began work
as a night auditor for Budget Inn, Clear Lake, until
his retirement.
David married Cheryl L. Willadsen Nov. 12, 1960 at
Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hampton, Iowa.
He graduated from Ventura High School in 1950 and
Mason City Junior College in 1956. He earned a
business degree from Drake University, Des Moines,
Iowa in 1959. During the Korean Conflict, he served
as a member of the United States Army.
He was an avid bowler and was a member of the
Thornton State Bank bowling team for many years. He
also enjoyed fishing and was a member of Zion
Lutheran Church, Clear Lake and Clear Lake V.F.W.
Post # 4868.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lester.

Kemper M.
(John) OHare, 75, of Clear Lake, died Sunday, Oct.
23, 1994, at North Iowa Mercy Health Centers east
campus, Mason City, Iowa.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Oct. 27,
at 10 a.m., at Cary Cemetery, Cary, Ill. Visitation
will be held today (Wednesday), Oct. 26, from 6-9
p.m. at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver
Lake Road, Cary, Ill.
The family suggests memorials in his name.
He was born Jan. 4, 1919, in Kenosha, Wis., the son
of Frank OHare and Phoebe (nee) Broderick OHare. He
received his education in the Chicago, Ill. area.
On Feb. 14, 1942, he married Dorothy Jackson in
Chicago.
During World War II he was enlisted in the United
States Army, serving as an M.P.
After the service, he returned to the Chicago area
and lived most of his life there. He was a longtime
employee of the C.P. Clare Co. in Skokie, Ill.,
retiring in 1984. He moved to Clear Lake in 1985.
He enjoyed antique cars and was a Civil War buff. He
also loved to do carpentry work.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy OHare, of Clear
Lake; five children, Kenneth Marcus OHare and his
wife, Denise Zaccardi, Ph.D., of Chicago, Kathleen
Takaya and her husband, Rev. R. Andrew Takaya of
Kaneohe, Hawaii, Thomas OHare and his wife, Cheryl,
Clear Lake, John R. OHare of Florissant, Mo., and
Linda M. Weege and her husband, Timothy of Cary,
Ill.; nine grandchildren, Edward M. OHare, Rose Erin
OHare, Miles OHare, B. Mark Takaya, Eryn L. OHare,
Shawn T. OHare, Rebecca Weege, Laura Weege and Alec
Weege; one great-grandchild, Jacob Takaya.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two
brothers, James OHare and George OHare; two sisters,
Margaret and Ruth.

(Moraine) Hasbrouck, 58, of Clear Lake, died Monday,
Oct. 24, 1994, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester,
Minn.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 28, at
10:30 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake.
Interment will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the
Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake. The
family will will be at the funeral home at this time
to greet friends.
The family suggests memorials to the American Lung
Cancer.

Moraine was born April 1, 1936, in Moorhead, Iowa,
the daughter of Raymond Melby and Evelyn (nee) Hein
Melby. She graduated from Soldier High School,
Soldier, Iowa, in 1954.
On June 22, 1954 she was married to Wayne Hasbrouck
in Onawa, Iowa. They lived in Omaha, Neb., until
1960 when they moved to Waterloo, Iowa, and in 1969
they moved to Clear Lake.
She worked at Tractor Supply in Mason City part-time
as a secretary and later worked at Mason City
Country Club as a secretary.
Moraine loved to bowl.... She also enjoyed going on
the Handicap Village sponsored walks. She was a
charter member of the Clear Lake Lioness.
She is survived by her husband Wayne Hasbrouck,
Clear Lake; one daughter, Vicki Welch and her
husband, Eugene Jr., Clear Lake; one son Bruce
Hasbrouck and his wife, Valerie, Ventura; one
granddaughter Vanessa Hasbrouck, Ventura; two
brothers Dennis Melby and his wife, Florence, York,
Neb., and Gary Melby, Brawley, Calif.; two sisters
Nancy Hoden and her husband, Jack, San Marcus,
Calif., and Christy Vivion, Huntington Beach,
Calif.; many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one
brother, Maynard Melby.

1994, at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center East
Campus, Mason City, Iowa.

Martin OBrien, 78, of P.M. Park, Clear Lake, Iowa
passed away Monday, Oct. 24, 1994 at the Americana
Health Center, Waterloo, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday at St. Patricks Catholic Church, Clear
Lake. Msgr. Joseph J. Slepicka will officiate. A
graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m.
Wednesday at St. Marys Cemetery in Waverly, Iowa
with Rev. James Miller officiating. Military honors
will be performed at the graveside service.
He was born Nov. 11, 1915 at Whittemore, Iowa. He
was the son of James OBrien and Catherien (nee)
Boyle OBrien. He received his grade and high school
education at Whittemore, Iowa. He was inducted into
the United States Army Jan. 29, 1941, and served on
the front lines of battle in the Aleutian Islands,
the Northern Solomons, the Southern Philippines and
Ryukyus (Okinawa) until Oct. 4, 1945.
He married Marie Bahling OBrien at Glendale, Calif.
on Dec. 14, 1940. Following the war, the couple
lived at Burt and Algona, Iowa where he managed the
V.F.W. and had a trucking business for 20 years. He
sold his business and did apartment management in
Marshalltown and Des Moines and then retired to
Clear Lake, Iowa in 1978. They spent several winters
in South Texas.
He greatly enjoyed dancing, golfing, the
out-of-doors, camping and the lake. He was a member
of St. Patricks Catholic Church of Clear Lake and
longtime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the
American Legion of Algona, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Marie (Bahling) OBrien,
Clear Lake; children, Judith and her husband David
Stewart of Waverly, Iowa; Maureen and her husband
Ralph Mentzer of Dike, Iowa; and Neal and his wife
LeAnn OBrien of Mendota, Ill. Grandchildren and
spouses include Janine and Wayne Whipps of Dike,
Iowa; Douglas and Janeen Stewart of Waverly, Iowa;
Jana Mentzer and Jennifer Stewart of Ames, Iowa;
Matt Mentzer of Dike, Iowa; and Lucas and Clint
OBrien of Mendota, Ill. Great-grandchildren are
Valerie, Kristen and Kelly Whipps and Michelle and
Shannon Stewart. One sister, Catherine Kurka and her
husband Victor, of Fairfield, Iowa survives.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four
brothers, Timothy, Edmund, Bernard and Hubert; and
four sisters, Lucille, Eileen, Marguerite and Mary.
The family will direct memorials to the Americana
Arcadia Alzheimers Unit and Alzheimers Research.

died Monday, Oct. 24, 1994 at North Iowa Mercy
Health Centers east campus.

a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at the United Methodist
Church in Clear Lake. The Rev. Fred Lewis will
officiate. Burial will be in the Clear Lake
Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26,
at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th
St., Clear Lake. The family suggests memorials in

He was born Jan. 19, 1936 to Hubert Thomas Webb and
Glenna Mae (nee) Martin Webb at Manly, Iowa. He
attended Manly Schools, graduating in 1954.
On Sept. 7, 1956 he married Audrey Hill at Manly
BEUB Church. He always considered this to be the
greatest honor he would ever receive.
As a youth Harold felt Jesus Christ enter his heart
and thereafter worked to lead a Christian life. He
adopted the hymn (He Leadeth Me) as his personal
theme song.
He received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from
the University of Northern Iowa, majoring in speech
and hearing disorders of children. Additional
graduate studies in administration were done at
Drake, the University of Iowa and the University of
Minnesota.
He served the schools of Franklin County from
1958-1970. He was Director of Special Education for
Franklin-Butler-Bremer Counties from 1970-73 and for
Cerro Gordo, Floyd, Mitchell and Worth Counties
1973-74. In 1974, he helped create the Area
Education Agencies and served as the Director of
Special Education for Northern Trails AEA from
1974-1993. His professional life was completely
dedicated to children with disabilities and their
families. he was an active member and officer of
several advocacy organizations and was appointed by
Iowa Governor Terry Branstad to serve on several
Governors Councils on infants and toddlers, youth,
students with special health care needs and children
with head injuries.
He received numerous awards including: Administrator
of the Year, Iowas Friend of School Social Work, the
1992 Harmony of Living Award and the 1993
Winterstein Award for meritorious achievement in
special education. The harmony of Living Award,
established by the River City Barbershop Chorus,
honors a North Iowans who exhibits (everyday
unselfish patterns of positive and harmonic service
to others.) Harolds nomination for the award was
supported by 100 letters, the most the group has
ever received in the awards history.
He was the founder of North Iowa Phi Delta Kappa,
which recently initiated a scholarship program in
his name for prospective teachers.
Harold enjoyed wildlife and belonged to several
environmental and conservation organizations. He had
a special love of trees and with family and friends
had planted over 2,000 trees, many in public parks.
Several trees have also been planted in his honor.
He was active in the United Methodist Church, where
he held many officers at the local and state level.
For the past 14 years he was a Certified Lay Speaker
and conducted worship services in over 50 area
churches of various denominations. He was a member
of the church choir and taught Sunday School for
several years. He and his wife, Audrey, did clown
ministry for childrens groups.
He was fascinated by the hobby of gardening, always
impressed by the miracle of plant germination and
propagation. He was a charter and life member of the
Mens Garden Club of North Iowa and had served as its
president.
Harold is survived by: his wife, Audrey, of Clear
Lake; two sons, Hugh T. Webb and his wife Marie, of
Clear Lake, and their children Brianna Christine,
Houston Thomas and Harrison Tanner; and Greg S. Webb
and his wife Sherry, of Iowa Falls, Iowa and their
children Blake Thomas and Brooke Kathryn; a sister,
Delores Mullin and her husband Avery of Milbank,
S.D.; his mother-in-law, Hazel Hill, of Mason City;
a brother-in-law, David Hill, of Mason City, Iowa; a
sister-in-law, Ellen Harris, of Mason City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an
infant brother, Lloyd Dean Webb.
Honorary pallbearers at the service will be members
of the Mens Garden Club of North Iowa.
Active pallbearers will be Dick Raatz, Lyle Abbas,
Dennis Scudder, Dale Jensen, Jim Clark, Mark Feustel,
Dale Tietjens and Fritz Kruger.
