Louise Rouse
NEW HAMPTON, Iowa -
Louise E. Rouse, 85, of New Hampton, died Thursday,
March 2, 2000, at the New Hampton Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center after a short illness.
Funeral services will be
held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 6, at the Immaculate
Conception Church in North Washington with Rev. Francis
Perry presiding. Interment will be in St. Mary's
Cemetery at North Washington.
Visitation will be held
from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Conway Funeral Home in
New Hampton where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7
p.m. scripture service.

Jennie Lines
Jennie A. (Mrs. Guy)
Lines, 71, of the Salsbury Baptist Home in Charles City
and formerly of rural Charles City, died Friday, March
3, 2000, at the nursing home.
A funeral service will be
held at 1:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 7, at the St.
John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Charles City. The
Revs. Dennis D. Niezwaag and Mark A. Anderson will
officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in
Rockford.
Visitation will be held
from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Fullerton Hage
Funeral Home in Charles City. Visitation will continue
one hour prior to services at the church.

Bernard Wenthe
FREDERICKSBURG, Iowa
-Bernard D. Wenthe, 74, of Fredericksburg, died Sunday
morning, March 5, 2000, at Allen Memorial Hospital in
Waterloo of complications of a heart attack suffered at
his home Friday evening.
Funeral services will be
held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, March 7, at St. Paul's
Lutheran Church with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery both
located in Fredericksburg. Chenoweth and Son Funeral
Home in Fredericksburg is in charge of the arrangements.

OSAGE, Iowa -Cletus "Clete"
Demuth, 76, of Osage, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at the
Faith Home in Osage following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be
held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church in Osage. Father Philip Recker will
officiate. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery
with military honors at the grave by Osage American
Legion Post 278.
Visitation will be from 7
to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Champion Funeral Home in
Osage with a Parish Scripture Service at 8 p.m.

GREENE - Rosella I.
Hemmerich, 80, of Greene, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000,
at the Liebe Care Center in Greene.
Funeral services will be
held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 11, at St. Peter
Lutheran Church in Greene with Pastor Lance Kittleson
officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in
Algona.
Visitation will be held
from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Reid's Funeral Chapel in
Greene and will continue on Saturday at the church one
hour prior to services.

Laura Dahly Roe, 95, of
Eleventh Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City,
and formerly of Riceville and Lime Springs, Iowa and
LeRoy, Minn., died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at the
nursing home.
A funeral service for
Laura Dahly Roe will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March
10, at the Messiah Lutheran Church, 705, Third Avenue in
Charles City. The Rev. Curt Schneider, pastor, will
officiate. Burial will be the Pleasant Hill Cemetery,
Lime Springs, Iowa.
Friends may call from 5
p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 9 and from 9 a.m. to 11
a.m. Friday, March 10, at the Fullerton Hage Funeral
Home, 401 Blunt Street in Charles City. Visitation will
continue one hour prior to service at the church.
