“Talk
about Big” Where is the largest repository of genealogical
material in the world? Mike Gibson, director of The Family
History Center, located at The Church of the Later Day Saints in
Mason City, (with technical assistance from his son) led
attendees through the process on accessing over two million
microfilms and other records in the LDS archives. It can
be done right here in River City!! The
January meeting was held at the Church of Latter Day
Saints on South Kentucky Avenue, Mason City.
Hours at this library are Tuesday
from noon to 6 p.m. and Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
